Ja'Shon Burks of Indianapolis to Perform In Huntington University's Annual Longaker Honors Recital

Ja'Shon Burks will perform in the annual Longaker Honors Recital at Huntington University on April 19. The event will showcase eight of the university's top musicians. The recital will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Zurcher Auditorium of the Merillat Centre for the Arts.

Each musician was chosen in a rigorous audition process.

Burks, a sophomore Music Choral Education and Bible and Religion-Religious Studies from Indianapolis, IN, will perform "Goodbye," "L'alba separa dalla luce l'ombra" and "La Serenata" by Franceso Paolo Tosti.

The event is open to the public and admission is free. For more information, contact the Huntington University Music Office at 260-359-4262.
