Ja'Shon Burks of Indianapolis to perform in Huntington University's annual Longaker Honors Recital

Ja'Shon Burks will perform in the annual Longaker Honors Recital at Huntington University on April 16. The event will showcase nine of the university's top musicians. The recital will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Zurcher Auditorium of the Merillat Centre for the Arts.

Each musician was chosen in a rigorous audition process.

Burks, a freshman tenor choral education and Bible and religion double major from Indianapolis, IN, will be performing "On The Wings Of The Wind," "O Let No Star Compare With Thee," "Love Not Me For Comely Grace," "The Twins" and "When I Think Upon the Maidens" by Michael Head.
