Kaitlyn Troyer of Goshen to serve in India over January Term

2013 Dec 18

Kaitlyn Troyer of Goshen, IN, will serve at the Home of Love in Chennai, India, this January for what is Huntington University's third trip to serve at the all-girls orphanage.

Troyer is a junior Elementary & Special Education major at HU.

The trip, led by Dr. David Alexander and his wife, Gen, has been one of the most successful service trips in HU history, and the demand to attend the trip has students returning again for J-Term.

Home of Love, an orphanage for Indian girls at risk of living on the streets or getting involved in prostitution, is forever bonded with HU. Students have raised thousands of dollars for the orphanage in past years in addition to leading Bible studies and performing on-site construction.
