Meghan Wagner of Angola to attend national education conference

Meghan Wagner from Huntington University’s Omega Psi Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society in education, will be attending the national Kappa Delta Pi Biennial Convocation in Dallas, Texas, on Oct. 24-26.

Wagner is a junior Elementary & Middle School Education Language Arts major from Angola, IN.

Founded in 1911, Kappa Delta Pi is a dynamic learning community that recognizes and enhances growth in scholars and leaders.

The conference, themed “Connecting in a Big Way,” will feature UNESCO’s Dr. Charles Hopkins and space science educator Dr. Jeff Goldstein. There are also several educational workshops available for attendees to participate in.

The students will be accompanied by chapter counselor and education department chairman Dr. Terrell Peace and Dr. Susie Boyer, assistant professor of education.
